My client is a growing chain of restaurants looking to expand their brand and take their company to the next level. A General Restaurant Manager required for this fantastic Restaurant Company in Derby. Role Details

The Restaurant General Manager is key to taking responsibility for the smooth running of the restaurant and the implementation, evolution and ongoing improvement of standards and profitability.

As Manager of this busy site, you will be tasked with motivating, inspiring and leading a team of staff across the site. You will be working closely with your Management team and dealing with staffing, stock and financial control as well as ensuring outstanding customer service solutions.

You will be required to Maximise sales opportunities within the business, delivering agreed sales and volume targets and to gain a full understanding of the profit and loss accounts. To prepare and deliver accurate sales and labour forecasting and to report figures within set timescales and in line with budget.

The Restaurant General Manager will need to demonstrate the Brands ideal by ensuring the restaurant set up, running and closedown consistently meets their standards. Also to ensure pre-shift team meetings are inspirational on every shift and quality is monitored and consistently delivered through observation, attention to detail and amazing interaction with both staff and customers.

We’re after a Restaurant General Manager who are leaders, influencers and results obsessed. You’ll be jam packed full of new ideas to make your Restaurant to an even better place to eat – and work.

What you’ll need to land this opportunity

You will be a positive, dynamic individual with strong leadership skills and a have a willingness to learn. As the right person for this job you be looking to grow within the company.  You will be able to demonstrate from your previous experience:

  •  At Least 2 years’ experience as a General Manager within a high-volume Hospitality/Retail/Leisure Sector
  • Ability to run the site with a pro-active and positive attitude
  • Passion for Training & Development of your team with strong Leadership skills
  • Full responsibility for P&L; Driving sales, Stock control, Labour and working to Budgets
  • A responsible and stable attitude whilst working alongside an established team of managers
  • The successful applicant will be motivated, have creativity and flexibility
  • Detailed product knowledge
  • Service skills and team culture.

 

Most of all an outgoing, approachable and positive personality with great communication skills! You will be required to work five days a week, including weekends and have availability for Breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts. This position will be given to an individual who is passionate about hospitality and is extremely results orientated.
